CREATIVE PATTERN MAKER [CLOSED]

We are currently seeking an experienced Creative Pattern Maker to join our team. You will be responsible for creating the first patterns whilst working alongside the designer to ensure shoes are produced to the brand's exceptionally high standards.

The successful candidate will support and share in the designer's vision to drive the company forward.

The Role:

Produce patterns manually as well as make amendments to existing patterns
Working closely with the sample room team whilst ensuring all actions are cost-effective
Attending fit meetings
Providing technical finishing ideas

The candidate:

Male or Female
Fresh graduate or professional; non-formal background are welcomed
Experience working within the luxury womenswear market
Good working knowledge of shoe design and pattern
Strong understanding of fashion trends

This role will see you working to set targets to achieve an overall monthly/yearly target. Key Responsibilities:

Build seasonal product range in alignment with market trends and demand.
Manage and track shipping process in order to ensure product availability.
Manage forecasted Sales, Margin & Markdown as well as plan promos to boost sales and remain competitive.
Manage pricing strategy by monitoring market changes, competitor prices, and products.
Negotiate with the supplier to meet the cash margin target, develop & maintain vendor.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor degree holder any field Minimum 2-3 years experience in FMCG/Retail Industries;
Advanced planning and analytical skills, including computer skills;
Confidence in suggesting calculated risk;
Strong customer awareness and understanding;
Passionate about the product, strong market, and brand awareness;
Timekeeping & ability to meet stringent deadlines;
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Excel;
Fluent in written and spoken English.
