Thursday, December 22, 2016

As many as 50 higher learning institutes and higher education agencies from within the country and overseas are taking part in an education exhibition, taking place on Friday and Saturday, to offer students in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, higher education opportunities.

Event organizer Yuliana Sri Marti said each student could immediately contact the educational institute of their choice after the event, as well as with the college’s representatives.

“The students can enroll through their respective schools. It is primarily final year students, who will be taking their final exams, who have asked to be helped with their future education,” said Yuliana, who is also a teacher at Santo Paulus high school.

The favorite educational destination for students seeking to go abroad is Australia and Jakarta for those wishing to stay at home.

“We invited all senior high schools in Pontianak, and the response was good. The number of students seeking information about higher education is growing from year to year. Accurate information on higher learning institutes remains essential in West Kalimantan,” she said.
