Banjarmasin - Borneo Festival will hold in South Kalimantan Governor's Office starting 12 September 2013 is a regional promotional agenda. "Borneo Festival which lasts for three days in the 'City of a Thousand Rivers' Banjarmasin is not only showing art and cultural attractions, but also introduces a wide range of product as well as the potential of the four provinces in Kalimantan," said Head of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism of South Kalimantan, H Mohandas, Thursday (05/09/2013).

“Obviously, the four provinces will acquaint their potential tourism simultaneously”, as he stated in between of meeting of executive committee of National Sports Week (Porwanas) XI.  

According to former Deputy Chief of the Department of Education (Education Department) of South Kalimantan, Borneo Festival agenda has a good-timing arrangement since the concurrent arrival of various media to cover the agenda Porwanas XI.

“Due to some journalists make earlier check in at 11 September 2013, therefore they can debriefing Borneo Festival in advance before covering the match which is scheduled to begin 14 September 2013”, he said.
