PENAJAM -Department of Transportation, Culture and Tourism (Dishubudpar) Paser Penajam North District (PPU) held a biennial event entitled the Election of Tourism Ambassador period 2013-2015. This event is open for public from September 12 to 26 at the Dishubudpar office.

The head of Disbudpar of PPU Distric, Alimuddin who was accompanied by Section Head of culture and tourism, Andi Tomaru said that the election of Tourism Ambassador of PPU district commonly named Putra Putri Benuo Taka Elections is biennial calendar in order to search ambassador who will assist local governments to promote their potential art, culture and tourism.

"Event tourism ambassador is stepladder activities. Selected ambassadors will represent the district to pursue election to the provincial tourism ambassadors nationwide, "said Alimuddin who was accompanied by Andi Tomaru to Balikpapan Post at his office, yesterday.

Tomaru added there are three elements that matter, first, Brain (wit and insight knowledge), second,  Beauty (body and soul ), and the third, Behavior (personality, behaviour and good self-improvement)

“We expect this to be more lively event attended by the participants, both students and colleagues also the public. Let's cheer this event, for which interest can apply or come directly to the office Dishubudpar”, said Tomaru. (pam)
