FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jakarta, Indonesia — July 25, 2026 — Miumosa, an Indonesian cultural intellectual property (IP) company dedicated to transforming the nation's rich cultural heritage into contemporary design assets and products, will participate in the Jakarta Kreatif Festival (JKF) 2026, taking place on 5–6 July 2026 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
Organized by Bank Indonesia Representative Office of DKI Jakarta Province in collaboration with the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta and the Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK), JKF 2026 serves as a strategic platform to strengthen the creative economy ecosystem, empower MSMEs, and accelerate digital transformation as drivers of inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
At the festival, Miumosa will officially introduce Prajna Series: Jakarta Edition – Gigi Balang, a collectible tea ware collection inspired by one of the most recognizable motifs in Betawi architecture. For generations, the Gigi Balang motif has adorned traditional Betawi houses, symbolizing resilience, protection, and wisdom. Through a contemporary design interpretation, Miumosa transforms this cultural symbol into an elegant everyday object that bridges heritage, design, and modern living.
Miumosa's participation in JKF 2026 reflects the company's commitment to advancing Indonesia's creative economy through culture-based intellectual property development. By translating cultural heritage into relevant and commercially viable design expressions, Miumosa seeks to demonstrate how tradition can continue to inspire innovation while generating new cultural and economic value.
“Cultural heritage has the ability to transcend time when translated through meaningful design. Through Prajna Series: Jakarta Edition – Gigi Balang, Miumosa pays tribute to the wisdom embedded in Betawi culture through a form that is contemporary, functional, and relevant. We believe that culture should not only be preserved, but continually brought to life and passed on through creative works.”
— Anindya Sukarni, Founder & CEO, Miumosa
Beyond launching its latest collection, Miumosa aims to showcase how culture-led design can contribute to Indonesia's growing creative economy through intellectual property development, premium product creation, and cross-sector collaboration.
Visitors are invited to discover Prajna Series: Jakarta Edition – Gigi Balang at Booth C8 during Jakarta Kreatif Festival 2026.
