Balikpapan-The Investment Agency and Integrated Permissions Services (BPMP2T) Balikpapan city launched a program of siCantik (Smart Integrated Information System Services for Public) on 1 December 2015. The ceremony was inaugurated by the Mayor of Balikpapan Rizal Effendi at BPMP2T meeting room, Jl RE. Martadinata Balikpapan.

"siCantik provides transparency against the business permissions process and facilitate the integration of the database simultaneously with web-based application," explained the Head of the BPMP2T, Elvin Junaidi

According BPMP2T has developed into a web application programming since mid 2014. siCANTIK is an application that was first built by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemkominfo) as a form of e-Government support.
