BONTANG - Stunning appearance again demonstrated Bontang Youth League who is members of the Corps Marching Band Bontang Pupuk Kaltim (MBBPKT). Imagine, for the third time since 2003 and 2005, the Bontang Youth League  had the honor of performing in the twilight parade on Alighting National Flag Ceremony in commemoration of the 68th Anniversary of Independence at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, Saturday (17/8 ).

Witnessed by The President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and First Lady Ibu Ani Yudhoyono, Vice President Boediono accompanied by his wife Ibu Herawati, United Indonesian Cabinet, heads of state agencies and thousands of invited guests.

MBBPKT headed by Surya Madya, Manager Sefin Martadjaja, Coach Rene Conway and Field Commander - Masroni, successfully bringing four tracks, namely Berkibarlah Benderaku,  Gitta Gutawa’ songs  “Sempurna” and “Kawan”, also song written by the President “Untuk Bumi Kita” featuring the artist, Rio Febrian. 

The Secretary of Bontang Province, Asmudin Hamzah representing Bontang Mayor H. Adi Darma expressed his highest admiration to eye-witnessed the great MBBPKT appearance at the State Palace.

"This is a remarkable moments. On behalf of the Bontang government and community, please accept my sincere admiration and proud to MBBPKT which has successfully presented the best performances ever. This may highlight Bontang, Kaltim Province also PT. Pupuk Kaltim as the elder founder.” said Asmudin.

 MBBPKT appearance was also attended by the President Director of PT Pupuk Kaltim, Aas Asikin Idat and Head of Culture and Tourism of Bontang, Yuliatinur. (Source: Kaltimpost)
