BADAK NGL, PT refinery of Liquefied Natural Gas at Bontang, East Kalimantan, produced as many as 178 cargoes throughout 2013.

In early 2013, gas production that catered to block Mahakam refinery Bontang indeed had experienced a decline from normal 1,700 MMSCFD. But, now Mahakam production has been on particularly supported 1,700 MMSCFD Field South Mahakam.

BADAK NGL owned PT Pertamina (Persero) of 55 percent, Vico Indonesia 20 percent, Japan Indonesia LNG Company (Jilco) 15 percent, and Total EP Indonesie 10 percent.
Bontang refinery producing mines since 1977 has eight units (train) with a production capacity 22.5 million tonnes of LNG per year. In addition, LNG trains also produce LPG 1.2 million tonnes per year.
In 2001, Refineries Bontang reaches peak production of 379 LNG cargoes or 21.4 million tons and 26 cargo LPG or 1.15 million tons. After that, LNG production decreased by nature.
