At least 30 dances and art-grouping community were participating in Tenggarong Carnival Parade of Cultural Diversity, Saturday (14/6), in conjunction with Erau International Folklore and Art Festival which will be held next week of June 2014. Number of residents crowded at Jalan Akhmad Muksin’ side to eye-witnesses divers’ cultural attraction, native dance and art performances.

Carnival participants showcased their talent in front of the stage. This was witnessed by several participating countries of Erau Carnival, such as the Philippines, Egypt, and Latvia. They shown sincere enthusiastic of cultural diversity presented in this occasion.

The event was opened a marching band performances from MAN Tenggarong followed by ritual observances “Tempong Tawar” by sultanate of Kutai to seek a wish of safety. Meanwhile, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) communities appear “Caci Dance” presented by two man which whipping each other accompanied by gamelan music.
